This just in from the new Kimpton Folk Festival:
The organisers of this summer’s Kimpton Folk Festival are holding a fundraising Barn Dance at Kimpton Memorial Hall on Saturday, Feb 6. This is a fun night for young and old, with live band ,The Chancers Ceilidh Band, who will teach and call all the dances.
You don’t need to have done these dances before, as they will be taught on the night and are easy to learn, as well as being great fun. Anyone who has been to a Barn Dance before will know just how enjoyable these events are, so please support this new village festival by buying a ticket. Bar opens at 7.30 for an 8pm start.
See attached flyer, but tickets are £10.00 for adults, £5.00 for those aged 16 and under.
You can get them from Di and me, from the Boot, the Corner Stores or call the Box Office on 01438 832970

PS; Their next fundraiser – also at the Memorial Hall – is Wild Willy Barrett’s French Connection on Saturday, April 23.
